You can read all about the award here on The Music Authority's website . It's a great achievement and I am excited to have been given this award along with some other fantastic children's musicians.
Here is the Rocking Dan Teaching Man write up for the award from The Music Authority website. https://musicauthority.org/blog/top-childrens-music-blogs/. Congratulations to the other award winners. It's wonderful to be in your company. Music and movement in the classroom excites and engages children with their learning. It can help children with their brain development, learning new concepts, re-enforcing learnt content, develop gross and fine motor skills as well as balance and coordination. Music and movement can also assist children with their self regulation, by helping them to obtain a good mental balance between alertness and calmness so that they are ready to learn. It is a great privilege for me to be able to share my music with teachers, parents and children all around the world through my blog and YouTube channel Rocking Dan Teaching Man.
My YouTube channel has now had over 2 million views worldwide.
I have also had some amazing experiences performing live via SKYPE with children in classrooms from all around the world. It's such a great feeling to know that I am having a positive impact on children's learning outside of my own classroom and in other parts of the world! |
You can also check out my new self titled album at CDbaby.com. Play the album here on the music player.
